I have to say, sadly, I am not surprised by the awful, racist, rude comments that were made on twitter about “Awkward Black Girl” winning the 2012 Shorty Awards. The worst thing about the internet is it makes people feel bolder to hide behind a key board in the comfort of their own home. Such cowards.
However Issa is so dope, brilliant, and realized that haters are going to hate (… and of course doing that help promote the shit out of your show)
This is only reason #176 why I love Questlove and pretty sure he is my dream guy.

I write the fashion meets film article for the online blog Miss Crew. One of my personal favorite post is the “Ask MISSter Simms.” Ron Simms is our tech guy and the only guy writer. But he has THE best advice for love, relationships and what not.
And of course this one hits close to home for me.
