I have to say, sadly, I am not surprised by the awful, racist, rude comments that were made on twitter about “Awkward Black Girl” winning the 2012 Shorty Awards. The worst thing about the internet is it makes people feel bolder to hide behind a key board in the comfort of their own home. Such cowards.
However Issa is so dope, brilliant, and realized that haters are going to hate (… and of course doing that help promote the shit out of your show)

(I am doing 30/30 which is writing a poem for every day of April. I wrote one called “Why my funeral will be better than yours” and this is what my mother said in response.)
I really love my boss at my internship. She is a great boss and overall a really cool person.
She and I were just bonding over what we do in the morning to get ready and she told me about this website. Then we bonded over how stupid and silly this website was.
